How to best use your wearable tech

Do you have an Apple watch, Garmin or a Whoop strap?

If you burnt 500 calories at the gym today what do you do with that data?
If you did 10000 steps yesterday what do you do with that data?

I could go on but you get my point.

I'll bet you one million pounds your response it one of these two.

1, Oh that's good
2, Oh that's good, i'll burn 600 calories tomorrow.

By this point i'm counting my millions and planning my early retirement in the Bahamas and of course ordering myself a beer :)

What should you do?

Well don't do number 2, unless you've kept building up and you're now burning 343,789 calories per session you've tried this approach and failed.

If you do number 1 then try to increase your chosen metric by no more than 10% per week. Look at your monthly data, is it trending in the right direction. That's sustainable and that's realistic.
