Why did you decide to join the KICK17 course?
I really needed to refocus on healthy eating again and building up my fitness levels.. I'd been too busy trying to balance work commitments and a family life which meant that the amount of exercise I was doing was the bare minimum and I wasn't really thinking about what I was eating. I felt tired and sluggish but I knew I could feel much better, I just needed something to get me back on the right track.
What did you achieve during KICK17?
I was so pleased to discover I'd lost LOTS of cms at the final measurement session and, as someone who still likes to get on the scales from time to time, I was thrilled to have lost 5 kilos in such a short amount of time. More importantly for me though is the fact that I feel full of energy and the amount I can complete during the course of a normal day has increased substantially. My skin is in really good condition too and I think the juicing has a lot to do with that.
How was the overall KICK17 experience for you?
I loved the KICK programme. The juicing was my highlight as I could literally feel my energy levels rising whilst I was on the juice detox. I felt healthier and leaner, definitely able to do far more in terms of exercise than when I started and I've not really craved any of the forbidden foods. I've enjoyed eating nutritious foods and seeing menu ideas on the Facebook group. The exercise programmes were tough but I surprised myself at what I managed to achieve.
How did you find the community support at FITISM during KICK17?
Great support at every level. The coaches were fantastic at encouraging us all to achieve more than we thought we actually could. The buddy sessions were my favourite type of workout as it was always a KICK programme and we all supported each other and felt a real sense of achievement at the end of each session, especially after those dreaded 'Finishers'!
How did the KICK17 course compare to other courses, diets, plans etc you have tried before?
I really enjoyed KICK as it was hard work but fun and it really did deliver the results I was hoping for.
What would you say to anyone wanting to do the next KICK course?
Definitely give it a go as you could achieve a real transformation in no time!
