Cacao and peanut butter truffles

Naughty tasting without the naughty ingredients - great for a snack attack or a treat with a coffee 

Makes around 15 truffles 

Time to make < 1 hour 


220g dried dates 
2 tsp raw cacao 
140g rolled oats
1 tbsp flax or chia seeds 
2 tbsp peanut butter - we love crunchy peanut butter 

Approx 80g granola - we love FITISM Kichen goji, cashew and coconut granola 



1. Soak the dates in warm water for around 30 miniutes (don't soak for longer) 

2. Add the dates to a food processor and blitz until they make a rough paste 

3. Add the peanut butter, flax or chia, oats and raw cacao and blitz again until a sticky but pliable mix has formed 

4. Roll into 1 inch balls (place the mixture in the frdige for around 20 minutes if the mix is too sticky)

5. Place the granola into a bowl and roll the truffles around to coat
